In his message issued on behalf of the National Human Rights Global Family, Advocate Patnavi described Shab-e-Miraj as a profoundly blessed night that commemorates the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension through the heavens. He highlighted the event’s significance in reinforcing faith, divine mercy, and the importance of spiritual reflection, prayer, and unity among believers.
On this auspicious night of Shab-e-Miraj, I extend my sincere felicitations to the Muslim Ummah worldwide. The occasion, observed on the 27th of Rajab in the Islamic calendar, falls today (January 16, 2026, in many regions, subject to local moon sighting confirmations). Muslims mark the night with special prayers, recitations of the Quran, and supplications seeking forgiveness and guidance.
